Polymer Compounds

Polymer Compounds

Sometimes an application requires a material that has some properties of one polymer, and some of another. Instead of synthesizing a completely new polymer with all the properties you want, we modify and blend polymers and additives together to get the desired properties you are looking for. We can even add a colorant or an additive package to the compound developed for you.

Our Polymer Compounds range

  • Toll Compounding
  • EPDM Modified PP Compounds
  • Conductive Polymer Compound
  • FR Compound
  • Talk filled PP
  • Glass filled Compound
  • Polycarbonate light diffuser Compound
  • Cable Compound

i. Toll Compounding

In addition to our customized and customer-specific Masterbatches and Compounds, INNO is a solution provider for your toll compounding needs. For these applications, you can provide the product formulation, specifications, and raw materials, and we provide the actual compounding or mixing of the product.

ii. EPDM Modified PP Compounds:

We manufacture EPDM modified PP compounds mainly for following industries:

  • Automotive
  • Building & Construction
  • Plastic modification
  • Wires & Cables
  • Lubricant Additives
  • Tires &Tubes

There are different applications of EPDM modified PP compounds that are automotive, building & construction, plastic modification, wires & cables, lubricant additives and tires & tubes.

iii. Conductive Polymer Compound

ESD compounds offer an excellent mix of Electrical conductivity, mechanical properties and overall surface finish.

Applications in Polymers like
  • PP
  • LDPE
  • LLDPE
  • HDPE
  • ABS
  • HIPS
  • PVC

iv. FR Compound

Flame retardant (FR) plastics are essential to devices. we use every day, providing a valuable tool in fire prevention.
a. Increase plastic’s ignition resistance
b .Reduce the speed of flame spread
c. Reduce heat release
d. Reduce smoke & fume generation

Applications in Polymers like

  • PP FR
  • ABS FR
  • HIPS FR
  • PC FR

v. Glass filled Compound

Incorporation of glass fibers in polypropylene referred to as either glass reinforced or glass filled polypropylene yields compounds with the maximum increase in strength over neat polypropylene. We supplies a variety of the short glass length polypropylene compounds that range in color, glass content, flame retardant capability, and glass compounds that demonstrate less warp.

In general, glass reinforced polypropylene compounds are used in structural components that require higher levels of stiffness, strength and heat resistance and are predominantly used in a number of Automotive, Appliance and Furniture applications.

Applications in Polymers like

  • PP
  • ABS
  • SAN

vi. Polycarbonate light diffuser Compound

INNO has developed a new light-diffusing masterbatches using a polymer-based diffusion compound specially formulated for polycarbonate, acrylic and other clear plastics. These masterbatches provide greater light transmission than traditional mineral-based light diffusers, which are used to eliminate the hot spots caused by LEDs.

vii. Cable Compound

Compound: INNO offers to the wire and cable market a broad portfolio of customized elastomeric or polyolefin based compounds utilized for medium/high voltage as well as certain low voltage flame retardant applications.Their dielectric properties make them perfect for sheathing & insulating electrical, telephone and allied cables. Our range is also appreciated for insulation, sheathing, flame retardant sheathing, flame retardant & low smoke.

Features

  • under water electrical properties
  • Heat resistance up to 135˚ C
  • Low smoke & low flame with low HCL

viii. Talk filled PP

Addition of talc provides a significant increase in stiffness and high temperature performance of polypropylene. Due to the stiffness increase, talc can be used to decrease part thickness while maintaining part integrity, and providing cost savings. Typical applications for talc reinforced polypropylene are high-heat environments, such as
under-the-hood automotive parts, appliance components, and thermoformed packaging products including microwaveable products.
